This post was written in may 2012. Compared to then, I am souch more mellow now. A testament to how Art Therapy really works!

This morning I told someone in a crowded bus to go fuck off. Top that with a carefully-phrased suggestion from your boyfriend to go find a new hobby and you know that, even if you may have not noticed it, you’re possibly on the brink of a nervous breakdown. That’s how I realized I needed a distraction from my own life. :D
Although I will say first that I like to think I write better than I paint and draw, writing is too introspective and exhausting for me right now. Art though is an outward process of creating for me — you project a vision and create— then add color. People have paid thousands of pesos for a therapist, but believe me you, nothing soothes me better than a messy palette of colours.
So. Just to show myself how serious I am about pursuing my rekindled interest in art, I am commencing Liv’s Art Project (L.A.P.) where I plan to upload a couple of artworks I have completed over my spare time.
